Doctor Aylamaz’s life is filled with misfortune. On top of that, her rare name constantly causes confusion. Believing that everything should be perfect, simple, and clear, Aylamaz changes her name to Ece; however, escaping her roots will not be as easy as she thinks. Aylamaz finds herself on a journey to Macedonia, her ancestral homeland. On this journey, which she begins as a rational doctor, she encounters events she cannot explain with logic and is forced to confront her own identity.
