I am getting warmed up to the new characters, I feel like this Orhan and Nilifer Hatun have more chemistry. I like that this Nilifer doesn't seem so pacifist and more confident and even aggressive. The chemistry with Flavius and Fatima is really refreshing... though I wish he'd come clean and be honest? The relationship with Halime and Dursun is just too damned cute, i'm loving it. I just hope Dursun's family come to their senses and join Orhan's challenge vs the enemy, I really hate MONGOLS, though honestly, loved the Mongol Leader Temir in Saluddin's series.. Miss that one too, shame these actors are amazing, they should get more Worldwide PR.

Very sad they are not continuing this. Same with the Arparslan series... both excellent.

I feel disconnected from the actors. So many changes in roles, Osman, Bala, Malhun, Orhan, and Orhan's wife Holofira renamed, and recasted... displaces the warmth of the Osman series. I just wished they hadn't replaced so many characters, it's like watching an entirely different show. Also, where's Ghazi, son of Cerkutay, also rozali is correct, you'd think that Orhan learned something from his father. He acted poorly on the beach by killing Octavius.
