Orphan made several tactical errors in his bid to invade Bursa 1. He should have placed his own archers outside the castle to engage the Roman archers whenever the needs would arise. It turned out it’s the Roman archers mainly who had successfully repelled the Turkish invasion. 2. He should have allowed the supplies for the Romans to come on land before attacking the Roman soldiers on the beach. With that he could get the supplies plus killing the Roman soldiers. The worst tactical error was killing Octavius. He could be exchanged for Boran’s release. He therefore deserved to be replaced as the field commander of the invading forces. His rashness is a far cry from his father’s patience and careful planning of any attacks they had wanted to carry out.

I had watched the 1st episode. Orhan deserved to be replaced as commander of the Turks in the conquest of Bursa as he is tactless and impatient unlike Osman, his father. He committed two grave tactical errors. 1. He should have let Octavius lived and to be exchanged for Boran. I’m sure Flavius will have no choice but to agree to it. Killing Octavius will obviously make Flavius furious. 2. He should have let the ships unload before attacking. He would gain a lot in terms of the supplies meant for Bursa. This would have given him a lot of tactical advantages and a pronounced victory over the Romans.
Why can't I wach it on my internet TV but I could on my Iphone and my Ipad. I could do so for the first four episodes
