The first trailer for the new Bozdağ Film series “Aşk ve Taht,” set to premiere on atv and the ForumKayi platform this new season, has been released to audiences.
Preparing to bring to the screen the true story of Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat—who raised the Seljuks to historic heights—and Alanya Princess Destina, a story that travels from enmity to an eternal love, the series has stirred great curiosity with its newly released first footage.
Since being shared, the trailer quickly reached wide audiences on social media, garnering millions of views and tens of thousands of likes and comments, becoming one of the most talked-about topics of the day.
Produced and designed by Mehmet Bozdağ, and directed by Yağmur Taylan, Durul Taylan, and Cem Toluay, with a screenplay written by Serdar Özönalan, “Aşk ve Taht” tells the story of a ruler’s rise from prison to the throne during one of the most turbulent periods of the Anatolian Seljuk State—a story encompassing a great love and a ruthless power struggle within the depths of the palace.
Starring Akın Akınözü, Merjem Siljak, and Simay Barlas, the series centers on the story of Alaeddin Keykubat, who spent years imprisoned before entering a deadly battle for the throne with his brother, and Alanya Princess Destina, who lives with the wounds of her past and her anger toward the Seljuks.
