Unfortunately, this week the new episode of our series Mehmed Fetihler Sultani will not be broadcast. The reason for this is the Champions League match that the Turkish team will play. In Türkiye, the broadcasting rights of the Champions League belong to the TRT channel. Champions League matches are played on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Unfortunately, this week the Turkish team’s match falls on Tuesday.
Since the Galatasaray–Juventus match will be played on Tuesday at 20:45, our series will not be broadcast this week. One of the reasons for this is that ratings are everything in the TV world. Unfortunately, since this football match will attract higher ratings, the channel has to prioritize the match. And as I said, since the broadcasting rights belong to the TRT channel, TRT has to air this match on free-to-air television.
If Galatasaray advances to the next round, one or two more episodes of our series may be cancelled in the coming weeks. So you know which team you will support. Forza Juventus!
